ESG

SK bioscience is committed to establishing a corporate culture
and system for sustainable product development.

SK DBL

We take the "Double Bottom Line (DBL)" principle to add both economic value (EV)
and social value (SV) on top of its previous 'Single Bottom Line' principle focusing on economic values and profits.
We seeks to maximize the happiness of stakeholders while growing together with members of the society through DBL management practices.

SK Double Bottom Line

  • Economic Value

The final result of corporate economic activities
that is generally perceived by the corporate accounting standard

    Revenue
    Costs
  • Social Value

    The social activity for community
benefits through economic performance while minimizing
its potential damage to the society

    Socially
    generated
    profits
    Social cost
  • Change in the perception of social values
The current cost value of BM which is
the sum of economic and social values
  • New BM innovation as the core goal
    Accumulation of experience in decision-making
to increase long-term EV by raising SV

DBL, SK's management strategy for growing together with society,
is the starting point for business model innovation and corporate value enhancement.

Structure of SK’s DBL

  • Innovation of SV business model,
    a new core goal

Need to add SV on top of EV that has been pursued by the existing business models

  • Emergence of a new corporate value
    that adds social value

Adding SV to the existing corporate value represented by EV for social problem resolution

  • Establishment of SK management strategy for
    shared growth with society

A company that pursues a sustainable future together with society
